e-Chart Directory can be configured to be avaialable to everybody by an anonymouss access. The access can be restricted to a rage of IP addresses on your Intranet.

Secured Access |

During an authentication access, the users of the estWest products have access, depending to their belonging groups, to the corresponding modules with the rights for: consultation: confidential data and delicate functions (printing, extract, Workflow scenarios...); update: updatable data, input rules, authorized operations, Workflow scenarios triggered by an update action, token updates...; administration: configuration rights.
Note: The rights can be limited to a branch in the database. The rights can be delegated by the user. |

Authentication - User groups |

The authentication (User and password) can be defined in a file, or make the object of a submission through your LDAP server authentication.
The rights of an user depends on its belonging group (LDAP groups, or recorded in a file). The groups gather predefined users or found by a rule (belonging structure or site , LDAP filters...). Auto - authentication service of the users is available.
