During the authentication process, the users of estWest products have access, depending on their belonging groups, to the corresponding modules with the rights for: consultation: confidential data and delicate functions (printing, extract, Workflow scenarios...); update: updatable data, input rules, authorized operations, Workflow scenarios triggered by an update action, token updates...; administration: configuration rights. The rights can be limited to a branch in the database. The rights can be delegated by the user. |

Authentication - Users Groups |

The authentication (user and password) can be defined in a file, or it can be submitted through your LDAP server authentication.
The rights of an user depend on its belonging group (groups can be recorded in LDAP, or in a file). The groups are made of predefined users or of users defined by a rule (belonging structure or site, LDAP filters...). Self-authentication service of the users is available.
